SUAS
To collaboratively design and plan SUAS’ showcase event for the Ideas Collective Programme. Over the summer, participants developed social change projects and the aim of the showcase was to expand the public presence of the program and launch the ideas to the public. There was a specific focus on connecting the young change-makers and innovators with experts and mentors to help move their ideas further along.
Through our research we gathered potential mentors and key stakeholders to match the issues being addressed – targeting business leaders, social entrepreneurs, NGOs, academics, tech experts, and many more inspiring professionals. We hosted a sit-down meal that enabled engaging conversations, collaborations, and support to the surface as like-minded people were brought together.
Each Ideas Collective participant pitched their idea and then moved to their table that focused on brainstorming the idea and offering mentorship. To keep everyone going we had and artfully crafted meal arranged by Jennie Moran and drinks kindly sponsored by Hope Beer.

“I think working with Connect the Dots opened that space up for us that an event wasn’t just something people go to and then they leave but that they’re actually asked to play an important role in the event itself…and as result, they – and we – get so much more out of it.” -Client: Suas
